If you’re not excited about this list of fun date ideas, then we can’t be friends lol. If you’re anything like us, my boyfriend and I, we’re always looking for new fun dates and things to do. Too many times, we’ve been stuck and couldn’t come up with ideas for a fun night out or something adventurous for us to do together or with our friends. I decided to come up with this list of reasonably priced Fall date ideas for y’all to enjoy! If you’re in the Providence/New England Area, I’ve even listed some recommendations for you! I hope you find this list useful!

1.Hiking
Before the weather gets too cold, hiking is an excellent way to get some exercise while enjoying the scenery of the leaves changing. This is one of my favorites because you can pack your own lunches and snacks and enjoy a day outdoors at no cost, and you’ll probably get a scenic drive out of it too.

2.Check out Local Events
Sometimes we just wanna stay home, but other times you just want to go out and have a good time. These are the perfect times to check out events held by creative people from your community. Don’t hesitate to support and check out events held by your community, trying to create a space for entertainment and good vibes.

3.Paint and Vino
I love Paint and Vino because even if you can’t paint or draw Like me lol you end up leaving an Artist. They give you a step by step guide on how to paint the painting of the night, plus there’s usually a drink ticket included in the price of around $25 and up depending on where you go.

4.Drive-in Movie
I’ve been dying to go, but I’ve never actually gone! They have a good selection of new movies playing at a time, and It’s $27 for regular-sized cars and additional for Campers, RV’s or oversized vehicles. This is also an excellent idea for a group of friends.

5. Watch a play
These are always fun because the actors and actresses are really talented! It’s a break from the regular movie date, and you can find tickets starting at $25 pp.

6.Cooking Class

This is another thing I’ve heard such good things about, but every time I’ve tried to book a class, they’re all booked! If you plan ahead, unlike me, lol, you should have no problem booking a class. The classes are kind of pricey at $60 pp, and up, so I’d try to do this for a special occasion. By the end of the class, you get to learn how to make and try different foods, and what’s more fun than that?

7.Pumpkin Carving
This is actually an enjoyable idea that you can spice up with some wine or alcoholic beverages. You can get all the supplies you need from your local Stop & Shop if it’s a last-minute date idea.
8.Apple and/or Pumpkin Picking
Even if you don’t have a child, this is still fun to do. Not only do you get to buy cider donuts and other delicious farm treats, but a farm is usually a scenic place for a fun mini photoshoot. If you happen to stop by Wrights Farm, they even serve breakfast if you want to eat before apple or pumpkin picking!

9.Paintball
If your down for some competition and not afraid of a little pain paintballing could be a lot of fun. Packages start out at only $25! If you happen to check out Battlegroundz, there are a lot of other activities there besides paint-balling including, Laser tag, Airlift, Dodgeball, and many more.

10.Brewery Tour/ Wine Tasting

I’m not really a fan of beer unless it’s Angry Orchard with a cinnamon sugar rim, which is basically not beer lol, but Breweries are still really cool. If you’re a beer lover, I’m sure you check out different breweries often. My favorite kinds of tours are the wine tasting ones! I love the vineyards for a date idea because they’re so scenic and they’re also relatively cheap. Sometimes there’s even Groupons that give you even another discount!

11.Bike Ride
A bike ride is a nice way to stay active and switch it up. It’s a great investment if you’re actually going to use it often and creates some good bonding time! If you don’t have a bike, some places allow you to rent bikes, or you can borrow a bike from a friend.

12. Jack-O-Lantern Festival/Event
Every month there is a Jack-O-Lantern Spectacular held in Providence, RI. Other cities across the US also do a very similar event. At this event, there are all sorts of creative images carved out of pumpkins and exhibited at this event. Tickets are $12 for children and $15 for adults. If you check it out, be sure to buy tickets online and get there early because the demand is high, and sometimes even with tickets, it’s too full to get in!

13.Pottery Class
A pottery class for two can be fun if you love doing anything hands-on. You can take on a 6-week course, or you can do a drop-in class. The events can range from $35 – $245, depending on what event or course you are doing.

14.Rock Climbing Indoors
If you’re not afraid of a little challenge, this is a great date idea! There are different rock walls to climb, and it’s $25 for a day pass, including the gear.

15. Haunted House

Halloween festivities are only here for about a month, so if you’re into Haunted Houses, better check them out before they’re gone!

16.Salem, MA
This is my favorite Halloween activity of all time. I love Salem because it literally reminds me of the movie Halloweentown around Halloween. A lot of people are dressed up, and many events are going on throughout the whole city of Salem.
17.Escape Room
The escape room is a fun challenge, where you have to escape the room your in. It’s carefully constructed, and you have to utilize teamwork to make it out in the timeframe they give you. There are options for what kind of room you can play in and the number of people you need. This can be done in a group, or it can be a date idea for a couple, and they will pair you with random people. I went with a group of friends, and we had a blast!

18.Day Trip
Even though day trips are relatively close by, I still enjoy exploring another city, catching a bite to eat, exploring the bars and going for a walk! It’s something to look forward to together, especially if the weather is just right.

19.Corn Maze
What better way to get lost together than in a corn maze ?! Don’t worry if you’re lost for too long some of these mazes have people come and rescue you!

20.Karaoke
Even if your shy karaoke is always a blast! Whether your the one singing your heart out or your just watching and having a drink. Some places like the Boombox will let you ret out rooms with your group of friends so you can sing your heart out in private!

21.Netflix and Chill by the Fire

This is definitely a basic date idea lol, but sometimes you don’t wanna leave your house and just be cozy. If you have a fireplace, it’s definitely a plus, and you can just enjoy some movies, and you gotta have a bunch of snacks! If there are no snacks, I’m not coming!
